Ram Pothineni (राम पोथिनेनी) is an Indian actor who works in Telugu films. He was born in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, on May 15, 1988. He is the son of Murali Mohan Pothineni and Padmasree Pothineni. Ram completed his schooling from Chettinad Vidyashram School in Chennai and later attended St. John’s College in Hyderabad.
Ram made his debut in the film industry with the Telugu film Devadasu in 2006, which was a huge commercial success. He then appeared in several successful films such as Ready, Kandireega, Pandaga Chesko, Nenu Sailaja, and iSmart Shankar, among others. Ram has won several awards for his performances, including two Filmfare Awards for Best Actor.
Apart from acting, Ram is also a producer and has produced films such as Nenu Sailaja and Hello Guru Prema Kosame. He is also involved in various philanthropic activities and has been associated with the Teach For Change organization, which aims to improve the education system in rural areas of Andhra Pradesh.
